“Immortal island” was born after 5 days intensive workshop about physical concentration, Butoh, performance art with 20 participants gathered from Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Finland. The fascinating Opole city was the host of this project. As the name of performance explains, the story is about inhabitants of an Legendary island that are eternals. They are not able to die. their life depends on a weak flame of a candle which is kept inside a cage for ages perhaps. They struggle to puff the candle but it seems impossible to do that….
